Обновляться надо потому, что появляются новые фишки.

Например, в 1.6 (я ее еще не ставил) убрали ограниченние на вложенность категорий в категориях материалов (до 1,5 было только 2 уровня), есть возможность создавать группы с различными уровнями доступа (до 1,5 нельзя) и т д.

Я свой сайт для тренировки создал. Новый хочу сделать на другом домене и как бы объединение блогов нескольких человек (попробую CommunityBuilder). На текущем хостинге/сайте многие расширения не работают.

+ еще непонятно как джумла решит проблему с совместимостью расширений

Смысла обновлять готовый сайт нету. Я свой разрабатывал на 1.6, и после обновления до 1.7 - он тупо перестал работать, из-за конфликтов с моим шаблоном и движком форума Kunena. Благо хоть бэкап был. Так что на новых версиях имеет смысл лепить только новые проекты.

Какой-то корявый русский релиз скачал + непонрвилось, что админка вроде берет размер шрифта из системы. У меня в системе большой масштаб стоит и поэтому размер шрифта в админке огромный. + Часть классных плагинов не обновились

Некоторые классы и ИД определенны, но в самом коде сайте они не используются. А некоторые есть в коде, но в ЦСС их вообще нет Blah говорил, что шалон неахти в плане кода

"a#active_menu-nav" есть, а в коде нет. Хочется в верхнем меню выделить активную вкладку.


Здесь буду всовывать третий модуль между <div class="mod_main_right_top"> и <div class="mod_main_left_top"> третий модуль. Хочется сделать, чтобы получилось как с колонками: если правой колонки нет, то контент растягивается на всю ширину

pasha4ur я вообще никогда не рисковал обновлять жумлу, на своих старых сайтах как стоит 1.5.14 - так я её и не трогаю, от греха подальше, ато уже имело место шаманство с бэкапами после "рекомендуемых" апдейтов.
Работал с жумлой больше года. Потом попробовал вордпресс и больше у меня никогда не возникало желание сделать сайт на жумле

Хочу включить правую колонку, но тогда "контент сжимается". Неужели прийдется верстку учить Уже скачал учебник по НТМЛ 5. 253 страницы Еще и шаблон в коде весь перепутанный


Вообще хочу потом поднять другой сайт с др шаблоном на связке Joomla 1.5(1.7) + K2, CommunityBuilder и форум (эти все компоненты предстоит испробовать на "зуб").

Там в ЦСС запутано все было.


Скачал архив с базой с хостинга (админ настроил, что хостинг сам бекапит мне в папку). Админ панели у хостинга нет.

Не могу базу в хамрр проимпортировать:

Локалхост (хамр) - phpmyadmin - импорт(не читая всякие опции непонятные опции типа "совместимость"). Первый раз в жизни такое делаю.


Эх, где же "плаг энд плэй"... Сплошной "плаг энд лав ё маинд". Вспомнился линукс, где даже фильм и музыку нельзя посмотреть "из коробки"

Удалил в configuration.php пароль и сменил пользователя на рут.

localhost/pasha4ur.org.ua/ не грузится и куча ошибок/
Страница входа в админку грузится, но с кучей ошибок.


На хостинге "Обработчик кеша - Xcache". Может это кому-то что-то скажет

Сменил var $tmp_path = '/srv/http/virtualhosts/pasha4ur.org.ua/tmp'; на var $tmp_path = 'localhost/pasha4ur.org.ua/tmp';. Пробовал и var $tmp_path = 'pasha4ur.org.ua/tmp';
